My name is Elaine (she/her). I am a Counselling Therapist (ACTA) and Certified Music Therapist (MTA). I have had the opportunity to work with people of all ages and abilities; from preschoolers, teens and adults with developmental disabilities, adults in ICU and neuro-rehab, as well as seniors in long term care.

Through the unique blend of counselling and the use of music and its qualities to guide people towards changes and growth.
I work with individuals who want to:
-
Explore and understand their emotions in a safe and non-judgmental space
-
Explore self-expression in a non-traditional way
-
Are trying to adjust to any kind of change, no matter how big or small
-
Find ways to use music more intentionally to improve overall wellness
-
Want to find more meaning and purpose in their lives

So, I am here to listen. I am also here to provide opportunities to maximize your potential for change and growth. My practice is humanistic and strengths-based, using various therapeutic approaches tailored to meet your specific needs. As a second-generation Chinese-Canadian and third-culture-kid (TCK), I strive to be anti-racist, anti-oppressive, and culturally responsive.
